Judiciário maranhense participa de evento sobre segurança pública em Brasilia

O juiz auxiliar da Presidência do Tribunal de Justiça do Maranhão, Cristiano Simas, o magistrado Anderson Sobral (representando a Associação dos Magistrados), a juíza Stela Muniz (representando a Corregedoria Geral de Justiça) e o diretor de Segurança Institucional e do Gabinete Militar do TJMA, tenente-coronel Alexandre Magno, participam em Brasília (DF), do Seminário “Políticas Judiciárias e Segurança Pública”, organizado pelo Conselho Nacional de Justiça (CNJ). A iniciativa visa a identificar possibilidades de cooperação entre o Poder Judiciário e órgãos do Poder Executivo. 

Representantes dos poderes Executivo e Judiciário estão reunidos, até esta terça (26), para traçar diagnósticos e elaborar propostas de criação e aprimoramento das políticas judiciárias relacionadas à temática da segurança pública, com vistas a obter maior eficiência no planejamento institucional e nas decisões judiciais. 

A abertura do evento foi feita pelo presidente do CNJ e do Supremo Tribunal Federal (STF), ministro Dias Toffoli, juntamente com o ministro da Justiça e da Segurança Pública, Sérgio Moro, e outras autoridades.

Diversas referências da área de segurança pública e do mundo jurídico participam do encontro como painelistas, entre eles o ministro do STF, Alexandre de Moraes, o ministro da Justiça e da Segurança Pública, Sérgio Moro, a secretária Nacional de Justiça, Maria Hilda Marsiaj, o diretor-geral da ABIN, Janers Tesch Alvarenga, o delegado da Polícia Civil do Estado de São Paulo, Youssef Abou Chain, a diretora do DRCI, Érika Marena e a juíza federal Gabriela Hardt (TRF4), atual responsável pela operação Lava-Jato. 

Entre os temas debatidos estão a segurança dos magistrados, o plea bargain, as varas especializadas em organização criminosa e lavagem de dinheiro, os acordos de cooperação internacional para recuperação de ativos e as atividades de inteligência. O CNJ apresentará também os resultados de uma nova pesquisa sobre o assunto intitulada “Justiça Criminal: prescrição e impunidade”.
