O cantor Beto Barbosa deixou a UTI (Unidade de Tratamento Intensivo) do Centro Oncológico da Beneficência Portuguesa, em São Paulo, onde segue internado num quarto do hospital, sem previsão de alta. Outra boa notícia é que o cantor foi informado pela equipe médica que cuida dele que o câncer desapareceu.
“Ele está bem e curado. O Dr. Fernando Maluf (que cuida do artista) informou isso ontem. Só falta agora ele se recuperar da cirurgia, que foi muito grande”, disse ao EXTRA a representante do cantor de lambada na tarde desta quinta-feira.
Beto Barbosa, de 63 anos, chegou ao hospital na quinta-feira da semana passada para se submeter a uma cirurgia de retirada da bexiga e a próstata, órgãos que foram diagnosticados com câncer em julho. A cirurgia foi bastante delicada e durou cerca de oito horas.
Na ocasião, os médicos ainda reconstituíram uma nova bexiga com a alça do intestino do artista. Com o sucesso da cirurgia, a expectativa é que Beto se recupere logo e volte para casa nos próximos dias.
O cantor encerrou as sessões de quimioterapia em novembro e havia adiantado ao EXTRA antes da cirurgia, sobre a necessidade de passar mais tampo no hospital por conta do procedimento de reconstrução da nova bexiga.
“Os médicos me explicaram que a retirada da bexiga é um procedimento relativamente recente na medicina. E 70% é reconstrução de uma nova, isso pode trazer grande chances de infecção, o que pode deixar a pessoa mais tempo no hospital. É uma cirurgia longa e invasiva”, disse ele, há duas semanas.
Beto também explicou, na ocasião, que o câncer diminuiu 90% e falou da possibilidade de ter a próstata também retirada na cirurgia.
“Vou retirar a bexiga. Quando os médicos realizarem a cirurgia, vão avaliar se será necessário tirar a próstata também. O câncer diminuiu 90% após a quimioterapia. Tem dia que fico animado, e outros tenso. Será um procedimento longo e muito invasivo”.
